7.2 - Communicate STEM Program Plan
Monthly communication about our STEM program is sent out to key stakeholders and pipeline participants. Our INSPIREational news, which is compiled by each school's STEM coaches, is sent to staff members at all four STEM schools, advisory council members, business partners, CTE Director at CCS (Cabarrus County Schools), UNC Charlotte Partners, USDOE Program Officer, USDOE Program Support, CCS Curriculum and instruction directors, the superintendent, CCS Cabinet, Research Associates, and our grant evaluation group. By providing updates, data, and pictures for this group, we are able to secure participation and funding, as well as continue to encourage collaboration within our STEM pipeline.
We also meet with our Advisory Council quarterly in a face-to-face session to make program level decisions and share the work we are doing for STEM in Cabarrus County. By sharing our successes and being in constant contact with our partners, we are ensuring their continued investment into the work we are doing here at Patriots STEM and in Cabarrus County Schools.
